Criticism class

 Criticism classes began on 27th February 2025. A total of 12 students from Semester 1 presented their criticism lessons as part of their academic requirement. Each student took turns to handle the class while their peers observed the sessions attentively. After each class, peer feedback was given, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement. The peer criticism was constructive and helped the presenters reflect on their teaching methods and classroom management skills. This activity promoted active learning, critical thinking, and professional development among the student-teachers. Overall, the criticism classes were a valuable experience, encouraging collaborative learning and continuous improvement in teaching practices.

Sports Day

 The college Sports Day was held on 25th February 2025 at the college ground, starting at 9:00 AM. The day was filled with excitement as various athletic events and house-based competitions took place. I participated in the 100-meter race and shot put. Students from all houses actively took part in the events, showing great enthusiasm and team spirit. I belong to the Green House, which had a large number of participants. Our house performed excellently throughout the day. Noel from Green House was declared the male champion, and Sandra, also from our house, became the female champion. Green House proudly secured the title of overall champion. The event brought everyone together, and the friendly competition created unforgettable memories. It was a truly wonderful experience filled with energy, joy, and sportsmanship.

Demonstration class

 Demonstration classes were held on 24th February 2025 and were conducted by senior students. The first session was led by Marvel, who effectively demonstrated a poem, engaging the class with clarity. Devika followed with a well-organized session on a prose lesson. Later, Aachal presented another poem, which was also impactful and well-received. All three English sessions were informative and showcased good teaching techniques. Additionally, I attended a demonstration class by the Natural Science department. That session too was quite beneficial, providing helpful insights into classroom management and subject delivery. Overall, the day offered valuable learning experiences through peer teaching.

💟Valentine's day celebration 🎉

 The Valentine's Day celebration, organized by EKTHA College Union, was postponed and held on 21st February 2025 at the General Hall, starting at 2:00 PM. Various departments enthusiastically took part in the event. Our department contributed with a recreated movie scene and an engaging dance performance. The Department of Malayalam celebrated the theme of love through diverse and expressive performances, highlighting cultural richness and emotion. The Departments of Natural Science and Social Science also actively participated, adding variety and depth to the program. The event successfully brought together students from different streams, making it a vibrant and memorable celebration of love.
