On October 16th and 18th, our college hosted a two-day Microteaching Workshop, offering an invaluable learning experience for all participants. The event began with an inspiring inauguration speech by our esteemed Principal, Riju John, setting the tone for an enriching and educational event. The sessions were conducted by Arun Raj, whose expertise and engaging delivery made the workshop both informative and enjoyable.
Day 1: October 16th
The first day of the workshop focused on the foundational concepts of Micro-teaching. Arun Raj guided us through its significance, advantages, and potential drawbacks, providing a comprehensive understanding of the topic. We explored various practical examples, which helped contextualize the theoretical aspects of Micro-teaching.
In the latter part of the day, we were divided into groups, with each group member practicing a specific teaching skill and sub-skill. This hands-on approach allowed us to apply the concepts we had learned, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for Micro-teaching techniques.
