Field trip

On 4th October 2024, the first-year B.Ed students from our college embarked on an enriching field trip. We were 108 students, accompanied by our principal, Mr. Rijin, and faculty members Shijini Jose, Akhil Raj, and Vismaya Thomas. Our journey was divided into two buses: Bus 1 carried the Malayalam, Physical Science, and Mathematics departments, while Bus 2 included the English, Social Science, and Natural Science departments.
Our adventure began at Jubili Mandir in Kottarakkara at 6:30 am, followed by breakfast. I joined Bus 1, and our first stop was the Sree Chitra Art Gallery in Thiruvananthapuram, where we admired historical antiques and Veluthambi Dalawa's sword. Next, we visited Mariam Aquarium, marveling at the diverse marine life, including two massive tortoises.
We then explored the Kerala Arts and Craft Village in Kovalam, enjoying live craft demonstrations and a delicious lunch. We also had the chance to attend a magic show by the famous magician Dr. Govind, which was amazing. Our final stop was Kovalam Beach, where we played in the waves.Around 8.30 we all came to Jubli Mandir and after that we all reach to our home from there. This field trip was a memorable highlight of our B.Ed journey.
